TortuousI don't want/ to empty shells,/ introduce/ you to hell,/ or a heavenly/ chorus./ I'm just a/ ordinary/ tortoise,/ with lightning quick/ brainstorms,/ that torture/ your auditory/ orifice./ I email you/ details of what/ my cones and rods/ retrieve./ Forward it,/ so you can store it;/ I also give/ sneak peeks/ to what God sees./ From His perspective,/ I should wish/ Godspeed to my/ enemies,/ instead of a/ slow death./ It's hard to/ imagine me/ quote less./ Puzzled jigs/ have no answers;/ they only have/ hopelessness./ Their quotients/ only cause division./ Their remedy/ isn't focused... |

Spilled ThoughtsForgive me for being bitter,/ but I could cry you a river,/ and I don’t know if your boat/ is big enough to stay afloat/ on these turbulent quotes./ A sour patched kid; life ain’t sweet,/ like my Kool-Aid and tea./ As long as my heart beats,/ I’ll never run out of sheets/ for my thoughts to lay down and sleep./ Peep the sweat, tears, and blood on the leaf./ I rake these thoughts into a pile/ and see how you react to them/ as I sit back and smile./ Independent though I’m/ dependent on what I’m penning./ Follow who? Follow you? See, I got my own lead I got to follow through./ I follow clues of He who/ leaves behind proof/ of His existence/ and appears to be see through./ On this bandaged planet,/ I hold more we... |
SampleIf i bite my tongue, I’ll regurgitate what’s within;/ on the paper i display hidden thoughts with the pen/ Have them all in line. Pimping ideas;/ I’m just here furnishing your interior like Ikea./ Predicate the subject and sentence your mind for years./ The judge and jury. I hand out life like for real./ Behind bars, jewels twinkle like stars./ Cryptic lyrics high above your head like Mars./ The whole truth is 90 proof,/ yet no slurred words in my speech./ Sample sized soul food sticks to your teeth./ Break off a piece of me for every piece you read./ Blow your whole brain away./ I got a piece on me. It takes the pain away./ If it’s grief you flee, cheer is an ink stain away./ I got some Febreeze on fleek./ But I got some Gain, anyway./ Wipe the stains from your brain away./ No dirty rhymes; clean versions are like detergent./ Presently unemployed, but my rhymes are working./ On these blue assembly lines, I manufacture state of minds./ Selling my soul food... |
Delusional JewelsThese readings, though they appear misleading,/ are meant to guide you beyond the ceiling./ Food for thought for the toothless or ones teething./ I leave emeralds in collard greens and gold in rolls./ Gemstones are in these poems for pupils to behold./ Can you dig that? Take a swing at these riddles with a pick axe./ Don’t you want polished jewels. You got the tools/ to use to extract them and now rule./ But anyway, bright ideas take stage on the page./ Thought I was cheap, but I got enough to pay this price;/ To get seats for a lifetime at a Vegas fight./I draw eyes like an artist or Vegas nights./ This light of mine, your mind, it provides insight./ My speech glows in the dark or in light./ I like to write under a black light,/ so fluorescent thoughts, can glow back nice./ When I recite those thoughts, I light up the sky./ Colorful lyrics pop off like the 4th of July./ Diamond earrings, to your ear cling./ No, that’s just the saliva I fling./ Bars imitate stars an... |
Untitled or Entitled, It's still Indescribable"Woo Hoo!" Your mood, It's indescribable,/ after I untie you from my rivals;/ holding your ears captive through Tidal./ Spotify caught your eye. Rhapsody, you called, "your majesty"./ With nothing to save you, you look worried,/ and You scream, "Hurry!", so I stream words to serve thee./ Oceanic to a land mammal with my flow./ You never see your breath when you blow/ or wear a coat in Alcapoco. So,/ Cold lines let you know, it's a snow flurry./ Describe what I scribe if your eyes and ears left early./ Tongue-tied like a sphynx cat when it sees one furry./ Deaf ears hear, what my eyes have seen./ Blind eyes see when my inner ear rings. Though I haven't been winnin' in a minute;/ Sour about life, I've been pennin'/ cinnamon sentiments, with a hint of bitterness/ in these sentences. Witness this/ penmanship, I exhibit this like I'm senseless./ Limit this by describing it with words I learned at 10, in this./ Elementary on how I leave dents in this/ organ you call a mind.
