It Matters

Now siblings continues, yes at war.

Over his metal and bible from which words he used got us this far.

How and when did they stop seeing;

Their father used the bible to keep us together instead of fleeing.

What reasons could there be to sale,

Priceless memorabilia's  given for time "daddy"spent in jail.

The bible, what better book used to inspire;

Laws were changed, words from "his" bible was why.

The fighting already done when much was at stake:

Come on, can't you see you're making a mistake.

Look at what you've already given,

Isn't this an artifact which should be kept sacred for family.

Is this a case of big brothers bullying little sister?

It seems as if you all should meet at the alter.

We're talking about, pieces of a legacy, ownership the birth right of the family.

Pieces of history's first, are there no boundaries?

Selfish actions to obliterate the essence of the book of wisdom, truth principles, that helped to end the struggle of once an oppressed race.

More than mere principles are at stake!

Now really, what would daddy King have to say?

Certainly, you guys were raised a certain way.

Sure you're being careful not opening the closet door

But certainly he'd be dismayed that his sons and daughter are now in court.

Is the a way of showing passive resistance?

Sacrificing memorabilia's that should stay with family as part of history.

It matters!
