As My Heart Trespasses

Eyes silently pressed against the sky

Contemplating, the eternality of love she rouses

amidst my own relationship with time

I think madly about her,

the beauty that doesn’t coexist with this world

Bypassing the moon

Beyond the sun

Transcending the stars

I wonder, how can I accompany further

when I am born subordinate to the authority of this temporal dimension

Like flesh chasing spirit

Left winded, gasping for some air of possibility

for she is far greater than any breath drawn in the human experience

Another phone call placed to God!

Our first hour,

wondering how much does twenty years change the flower

Why I cannot step into hers

nor can I hold long her here within mine

for moments become memories that fade with the movements of passing away

the movements of angels

struggle to tame you

Warm winds against my senses chilled to the marrow

Watching the landscape of all I’ve learnt,

the ego of my education

Love-A Sea-Swim

Cradled shells utter softly—Love

That glistening wild blue yonder – boundless – breathtaking – deep

Soughing tales for a commoner to rippling shallows

Always she’s stood upright within their recurring promises rising just to recede

Kept by the sands

Longing head over heels to know of stirring currents just off the waters edge

To become one who has swam (a stranger to claiming waves)

Harboring faith that someday they’ll come ashore, carrying her out to sea

When he's there- too brief
Waking up alone- bittersweet
Uncovering yet another night blanketed in disheartening dreams
Yawning angst “how can he keep walking away”
But as she wipes rheumy peeps
She smiles for today's the day she just might see
The promised return of that moment he swore he'd never leave
How strange, to love faithfully a love that wanders
Patient stares sifting eagerly the wild blue yonder
“I only have eyes for you”
She's searching to grab hold
She's been right here every morn on into the eve– a dead end road
Waiting for a distant silhouette that faded to reappear; heading back home

In bed-time stories she’d believe
From that little girl naïve she’s grown
Why by know she should’ve better known

Same Ish, Different Day

Seems like every morning we wake up
reevaluating and declaring we're ready to break up
Temper-pedic comfort yet we still harbor
last nights aching disgust over our feeble trust
peeling away at an iron clad love we've let succumb to rust

We fight before breakfast and long after supper

She Devil

Deceit rampant in her eyes
Foul mouth embellished with lies
A malevolent grip loosening religious ties
Tossing his black coat
Upon the head of a goat
The purest of her intentions
Lies in lines to her black nose
Such sinful shades
Labials graced in Hell's Rose
Looks to kill
White innocence kissed a guilty Red
Untouched, unfed
She moves praying hands between unholy legs

Give moist temptation a feel
She preaches into his soul convincing him to act upon free will
Devine, virtuous, moral and just
However she knows if she loves him enough
She can wickedly corrupt
Satisfying her penchant for unrighteous desires aroused to erupt
All she seeks is an hour to devour
Contemplating his deeds, sweet or sour
A compelling non believer licks
However on Heavens Time his Cartier ticks
