At DTW Delta Terminal 71, Is a classical pianist second to none, Playing, "I don't get around much anymore", I appreciate the melody, but most choose to ignore, At the Chick-fil-A, just ordered a #1, Thinking one day I might learn to play and maybe even buy one, As he plays travelers go their various ways, I'm chilling, due to several flight delays, Time to burn, or is it supposed to be killed? Both apply to money, he's playing for tips with his skill, I would tip, but don't have any cash, "Do you take debit cards?" - That would be a silly question to ask! Amused, I see a young black boy gleafully riding a Razor scooter around the terminal, I took a mental picture, He's almost hit six rich white guys - You know they was thinking, somebody get this little n!@@€r! Later I see that he's adopted and his parents are white, His dad cut his hair just like his, no fade, just a stripe, Respect to him for seeing and loving beyond color, His story will long stick with me as I also wonder about his mother, Could I, would I adopt white kid? Maybe, I suppose if I did, A middle aged white guy, too would be amused thinking about me and my kid...

Good depiction of a slice of life - waiting in line. Very graphic.
