reaching out...
the fair chance
of it all
raises fear
chasing hope
us
checking each other

just to be sure
it’s nor a game thing
life’s full of pain
with songs
groaning and moaning
sad rivers of tears
cascading the soul
chasing happiness
between pews of grief
mothers know of joy
as babes burst from wombs
to liberate two
that are the one we could be
