This is a country Blacks gotta take
Even if by force let's shake like an earthquake.
Non-violence is what Dr. King preached
But where is he now, six feet deep.
Unemployment, drugs, disease
No money in the states its going overseas.
My God, I'm not blind, I see the rich getting richer
The poor getting poorer, this country is pushing
My black people to the sewer.
But only we can change things I know
By not being the white man's biggest ho.
There is a thing called "block watch"
The police say it's for our sake,
They are sleeping on the job
While we stay awake. Let's take.
But instead, get your education, finish college
Gain some input gain some knowledge.
Study history, yes yours
'Cause it'll be greater than any of your school scores.
You'll be amazed at how much Blacks changed this nation
Then you'll summerise that it was our creation.
Blood, sweat, and tears, for years
Offended in the worst way everyday.
Blood, sweat, and tears, for over 450 years
And it still aint stopped,
There's sheet-wearing sissy's still trying to spread fears.
Times past we were sold at auctions
Raped, and even beaten,
They tried to take our very souls and keep us from acheiving.
Our women, our Black Queens
Were forced to have babies for these rapers
Only to be sold at one-day old.
This aint no joke
This aint no game, it's a downright dirty dirty shame.
By now, we could've torn up this place
But we've shown much patience we're a non-violent race.
Haste makes waste
But do you hoogies know how an uzi taste.
I don't think so, not yet
See, while our presence has a future
Your past has ended.
And the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Emancipation
Proclamation, they all gotta change, right now, 'cause when
They were written they didn't include Blacks anyhow...
No more no more blood sweat and tears.
