Dizzy

A rollercoaster of whimsy

You make my body flimsy

When you smile, I need to sit down

for awhile, Oh mercy, you make

me wonder why the world isn't

better with you in it, when you show

up, the whole block is a witness,

they can't believe your style,

the ladies love your style, but

you are mine, all the time,

you take my hand, in my mind

I hear a band, playing our love

song, all day long, playing in

such harmony, that's you and me

Your make me dizzy.

Fingers clasp and unclasp

Touching, grazing lightly

It had rained earliuer, puddles

pooling along the sidewalk's edge

leaving a glistening trail for us

to follow, the block is quiet,

a breeze in the air makes

every smell fresh and new

our hands find each other,

holding tightly in preparation

for what the day brings
