it's just too much going on in this world
sometimes I wish it would just stand still
for a minute or maybe a moment
until I make it home safe and sound
I encounter a lot of people, who have a
false sense of security, nothings secure
not even what's in a safe or safe deposit box
everyday of our lives, we unknowingly
save our lives, the moves me make
the choices that we take, a second guess
change direction, go the other way, miss
the train, the bus, ran the stop sign, stopped
at the light, delayed, death don't sleep
tragedies always one step away or around
the bend or corner, be careful, you have to
nit saying be paranoid but there are some
terrains that we must avoid, we are all
only one heartbeat away from deep sleep
people are snapping left and right and
it's possible to get caught in the cross
on the crosswalk, walking across the street
security is a farce, danger is everywhere
