a miracle often we are in
shock and aw, when it happens
as if we didn't know it would
knowing full well it could
fall down on us like rain
at any given time, as if we
have time, still that don't
help the way we feel, when
it's all said and done, we go
to sleep and fake the wake
time don't tick, it just fades away
always with one of us in mind
