What is a woman's worth?
Beyond being a daughter, wife, and giving birth?
She is truly man's better half,
Capable of tremendous love and incredible wrath,
I can't imagine having her monthly curse,
With blood dripping out of my prick and worse!
Sexism is a religious and cultural prison,
It is a man's world that women unfortunately must exist in,
My wife moved seven times for my career,
Took my last name and waited at the end of the pier,
When my warship returned from a 6 month deployment,
I have supported but never sacrificed for her employment,
Now we both bring home the bacon and wear the pants,
She cooks, I clean, she sews, I kill the spiders and ants,
When our daughter falls and cries,
She prefers mommy's comfort to dry her eyes,
Carrying blessings in their womb and heart,
A woman's worth is priceless to the end and from the start.
