A positive order of events,
Meant to put us in a better light
But is it right to do wrong
For a better view of the end sight?
And just when everything seems right
Comfortability sets in as guards are let down,
Then Pop! Crack! Bam! Boom!
You're on the ground.
Incomplete and unanswered questions
Wreak havoc in your mind
Where did I go wrong?!
How, when, why, I...I,?!
Wrong doesn't do right when wrong is done.
Mistakes transform into learned lessons,
Professor ink said "pay attention grasshopper"
Life is in session.
Pencils and erasers that faded to black
Sell at auction to the highest bidder
Leaving you stunned and confused
With your eyes all aglitter.
Coming to your senses,
Clenched teeth hold back an angry tongue
Dare you say something?
Or let this be the last one?
Sacrifices made along the way
Make it seemingly worthwhile
Some days you're straight faced
Some days you smile.
So at what point in time
Does your past stay past tense?
Will acceptance come into play?
Or will it be a matter of recompense?
So will you give hope to prosequence
For a better view of the end sight?
Or accept the consequence
Of doing wrong because it seems right?
