I woke up this morning thinking how things change
Looked in the mirror, everything felt strange
Walked out the door saying I gotta do better
Went for my daily morning jog in this this bitter cold weather
Always dreamed of being a professional athlete, but feel like I’m an underdog
Try to vision life in lights, but feel I can’t see through the fog
On route to the boxing gym, getting dirty looks
Started punching the punch bag with my left, right hooks
I’m doing this for my sweet baby girl & sweet baby boy
Children are a gift from the lord
Remember if you live by the sword, you die by the sword
The time is here & it’s fight night
Sparring time, It’s definitely on sight
Going towards the boxing ring, everyone cheering
To be honest I was shocked, thought they would have been jeering
Saw my opponent, looked about 2 pounds bigger than me
I didn’t care, that didn’t fear me
It lasted 3 rounds, he won the first, I won the second
This was the time to claim my status, I reckoned
He thumped me down, I hit the canvas
I thought this was gonna end in a madness
Then I heard a voice in my head
“The fight ant over, be victorious”
Got up with a minute left, I gave him the wickedness uppercut
Ref counted 1 to 10, he was out cold
I won my first title, feel like diamonds and gold
I became a living legend, as a champion
Then I said to myself, miracles do happen
