One day they come in and hear no sound
Everything is still and quiet as the dirt on the ground
They look around in each of the rooms and begin to worry
Put their palms together and pray for glory
As they open up that one room that is always locked
Feeling that mild air of emptiness, running through their bodies and getting shocked
To see their child lying the on the bed so peaceful
Like a newborn baby bundled up so beautiful
They call out to their child's name but there's no answer
Starting to believe their child is playing a sleeping game
They call out their child's name again, but still no answer
Their bodies tense up with sadness and anger
Going over to their childs bed to view the stillness
Their tears start to flow of emptiness
No pulse, no heartbeat, no warmth the child lays their still and unknown
They go over and reach for the telephone
Dialing those three numbers after each tone
That voice from the other end
