Your RoseA rose withered in the rain. Smokey angles that became angels of the night. I grew from the root of dehumanization, yet you still plucked the thorns of my heartache. I became your pain, you grasped me tight to your heart and I became one with the veins that allowed you to breath. Didn't even have all my petals but the few I had you fertilized with the honey dew droppings of your soul. I drew out the life in you, but you still held on I was your rose. I was that hope that made you consciously aware that life was ugly yet so beautiful. You plucked me and groomed me, your rose that gave you the power that no other flower could. |

That WishLooked at the stars and felt I became one for a minute. A second within time I became a dream that many women dreamed of actually. I was what I wished upon then I lost myself. I gazed into heaven for a minute and lost my wealth. I imagined pain couldn't be greater than a bullet, but the pain of loosing you won that shot. I became the epitome of the woman that lost herself in this agonizing trial of misunderstanding. And I'm here damaged again because I looked at the stars and I no longer seen me, I'm back to phase one misery. |

I was called a for telling the truth, spewed venom from the hateful words that carried my worth from you. Introverted within time, I still tried to make some sense of this reoccuring nightmare of us. I was called a because I had maybe one or two conversations with someone that wasn't you, and in knowing that someone was in fact the same gender as you I became an animal on all fours panting for attention. You striking out your demise for revengence, and I'm stuck on the misconception of me being something other than a woman to you.Donny Hathawy said it best, "Giving up is the hardest thing to do when you really love someone", but when that someone don't love you giving up is the easiest and quickest satisfaction guaranteed thing to do. Unless you want to remain that , knowing thats all he's gonna see when he looks at you. |
