Urban Poet - Muad'dib

Muad'dib's an urban poet,
Does he know it?  Can he show it?
What it do? What is was?
First was fly, then got shoos, zero buzz,
Just a pest? Naw cuz,
Feel this flow,
From Concentrate, original,
Mixed flour and oil into rue,
Heat & time 'till there's stew,
Rather gumbo, felt my stomach rumble,
Quaked pavement cracks to shake the concrete jungle,
As the city sleeps legions of zombies creep,
And graze for brains like deranged sheep,
Hear them bleat, some report, others cheat,
Lemmings trip off cliffs then hit like guitar riffs,
And jam with drums, crowds clap till they hands get numb,
Used to rock in my basement now I'm #1,
All hell, my bad that's LL,
LOL, let's sit a spell,
Tell me your deepest secrets, I promise I won't tell,
Used to be like Poppa Smurf, now I'm more like Gargamel,
Filled with hate, plagued with greed,
Wear all black, yell at my cat who I must feed,
As I quench my thirst,
Like Ghostbusters I push a hurst,
Life's a blessing, but I'm cursed,
With a conscience and a mind,
And uncanny ability to write a rhyme,
Cyndi Lauper time after time,
When my pictures fade and turn to gray...
