Don't Judge Me

CATEGORY

just different

The bad news will travel before the good ever will,
But I'll be damned If I take that deal,
Tell on the who had my back?
Risk my life just to stay on track,
You judging me from the outside but you don't know me within,
Judging me off some Pig papers, those my only sins,
Would you say these things if you knew my heart?
Would you say these things if you knew my start?
They try to put me down and try to talk bad,
Try to make it so my kids will always be sad,
How you take a father from his precious kids?
How you gamble with my life just for I'll do a bid?
The system is ***ed and there isn't no justice,
All the prosecutors are ***ing bloodless,
I never thought this is what it would come down to,
Is this how the game goes when you stay down too?
The Harmony of my little girls laughter,
Is all fading from my head like a ***ing diseaster?
I'm a human being don't judge me for my crimes,
I'd never thought I'd pay the price for somebodys lies.
My heart is heavy and my mind not sane,
All I can do is pray to cover the pain,
I'm far advanced to be in this mess,
If I stay positive I know this is faith- a test.
Test my heart, test my mind,
I'll show you strength and I'll come out fine,
I'm not a weak this time I'll do,
But I'll come back fighting and smarter then you,
You can't try me like a lame, I'll always prevail,
This situation will end up being like a tall tale,
Just a story you tell your kids,
Then show them my face to let them know I did.
I did make it through and I never lost faith,
Regardless of how I felt, I kept a smile on my face,
I may be away but I'm never too far,
I'm the same man who you can call whenever you wanted to feel like a star,
So don't try my gangsta, don't try my hood,
Nothing I tell you can ever be understood,
You'll never know my strength, You'll never know my pain,
But one thing about it, won't a damn thing change.
