I'm a strong women
A strong black women indeed
I typically don’t do
Or even say something
To hurt feelings but
To dig deep in their soul
And put together the bits and piece
Of the mysterious puzzle
That is placed before me
I am a lioness
Who guides her
Pride land when the head lion fails to do so
I am the mighty roar
That came from her mouth
So i can be heard
I was the darkness and
With every step i take
The floor panels lights up
Giving a sense of hope in the coming day
I'm the bass in a band
And with every note
It put the sound together to become one
I'M suppose to be a
woman strong in her submission
But there is a brick wall blocking
The views of my goals
At the end of this i'm just a women
Not that typical women
That is not comfortable in their own skin
Or try to fit in
But a strong independent black
Did i mention black…mhmm honey
Black Women that is head strong
Physical strong that would put up a fight
If things need to change
To fit the perfect little world that she is in.
