Caskets In The Rain

Little Bruh,

I can't believe it's been 2 years since you departed life,
I once heard long ago that death is just a part of life,
but dying like you did leaves all perspective in a hole,
it's eaten at me constant; chewing sections of my soul.

I find I think of happy times to measure some relief,
and plus converse with God; I find some pleasure in belief,
that you are someplace better off and absent from the pain,
of life where I sit visualizing caskets in the rain.

I don't know if the hurt I feel is ever gon' subside,
you never think that folks so close are ever gonna die,
2 years have come and gone with speed that's something like The Flash,
but time's stood still for real for some of us; it's kind of sad.

To cope with tragedy I see I'm laughing through the pain,
of knowing that I'll never sit and laugh with you again,
your memory will shine bright like a beacon; that's the thang,
the same with all October 5ths and caskets in the rain.

Rest In Paradise little bruh.

Thank you for this peace for it bought perspective to what life is, a fleeting moment in which our physical self is not present but our energy is present through those that remember us.
