If I go a day without thinking of you

my nights are consumed with visions of you

those eyes that provoke fantasy

your soul's windows burn right through me

the shape of your face, curve of your smile...

the way you put your hair in that whimsical style...

I left too soon.

I knew it then.

I had to prove to myself you were right,

with the hopes you were wrong.

this experiment has gone on too long.

 I keep a distance cause I want to be closer

closer than a fat woman's toes in a too small shoe.

let me grow on you

show you a thing or two

you can even show me something new.

Open minded enough to let you be my teacher

you'll have my full attention, you fascinating creature.

Each day should be different as I look at you with a new eye.

Her beauty gave me life when it took my breath.  I mean so arresting! How can I protest? This must be in jest But, convince my chest That houses this heart on a blinded quest It wants. What it wants.  What it wants only taunts. And here she is now in front of me all graceful with her flaunts.  If only I were bolder. I'm twice her age older But damn, just to hold her! I smile a shy blush,  Hiding how I crush. Timing is everything. All rewards are just. For the right chemistry I'll wait ...some things you can't rush.... -Haakim Understanding 9/19/2016

Patiently exploring every square inch.

A galactic minx

Bringing me to brinks

Prospecting her nectar for energy drinks Spin at a terrific speed

changeable and swift indeed

her winds will cut in a storm

Yet the right currents keep her warm Spinning in orbit at 93 still in full form

To know the cipher and understand the God ahm smiling at her curves.

Damn it's hard

could shatter light into shards

Transforming crystals to stars

must dip in her dew

It's mountin' and this fountain bout to spit atomic stew
