She told me I was so pretty as I said Thank you and I kept on walking.
Probably thinking "this sadity heffer" but I just didn't feel like talking
to too many people, let me keep to myself ....I won't be here long.
Little did I know she was one of the strong
ones. something like me, too much in common.
She wasn't sippin on that haterade,
who knew this friendship with blossom.
Automatic shoe-in to my circle --- party of one.
We cuttin for one another when it's all said and done.
No judgments, no hidden agenda, that's what's up.
She knows the God I know so she praying for our come up.
Selfless she is, she'll give you her last.
So when she ain't got it, I got you. I don't dwell on the past
of the people who hurt me, used and abused.
They're still good people in the world, no I'm not confused.
So I raise my glass, this toast is to you my friend.
If God be willing we'll be friends to the end
