Forever state of Solitude

We've all been hurt in relationships

Sometimes we dismiss or we get dismissed.

Love is not the reason we won't try again.

Why we say forget all the women, forget all the men.

You're confusing it because you were hurt by someone you loved.

Thinking they loved you enough to put you above

Anything that would put ya'lls love on the line

That would end the relationship and say goodbye for the last time

Love doesn't hurt in fact it makes you strong.

It makes you happy, it makes you better, and studies show it makes you live long

-er then someone who was alone.

You feel on top of the world, you feel it in your bones.

It's the lack of love from someone who loves you

and the harsh vices of people that we sometimes have to go through.

Controlling, abusive, jealousy, secrecy,

lying, cheating, envy, and insecurity.

These are some of the things that make you want to stay in the state of loneliness

because the relationships that you had were no longer harmonious.

Love is pure, you wouldn't run from it if you could.

You're running from people who do more harm than good.

But more power to you because I understand.

Although I don't know what you've been through, make that demand.

Guard the broken pieces that you were able to salvage.

Love is a beautiful thing, hope you change your mind, I put you up to the challenge.

Love is about compromise in the right areas

with the right person and someone that cares for you

in an unselfish way with your best interest at heart

with no hidden agendas, I know you know this, you're smart.

Love is not partial I know you already know,

these things can be seen instantly because people will show

you who they really are if you just look and listen.

So maybe one day you'll get out of this lonely condition.
