Let me run down the hall.
Into the bedroom, feeling tall.
There are shoes - oh so big.
Onto the soles of my feet.
Pearls glitter around my neck.
A fancy big hat, with a feathers nest.
One more thing, dark red lips best.
Let me show my new found glory.
Into the kitchen, just like a story.
"HELLO DARLING". words with that part.
Mother turned - like a candid lark.
Back then, now let me cook.
Show Dad, with his book.
