Not like I had plans besides twiddling my hands

Washing then drying and putting away the pots and pans

Outcomes are endless margins big as the universe

Always under packed, don’t even carry around a purse

No time for fun so I barely sit to rehearse

ballers hoard the gold spent by fools

thieves steal the jewels from common folk

lashing out at elders unprovoked

uninhibited unimagined well defined

first on the floor feeling Boones farms finest wine

the crazed crave attention from everyone and nobody at all

mute watch while the vagrant take root in city stalls

the wise stay home and let the cognitively young roam

conflicted on whether to sit alone or travel out in droves

the loners forever lonely with no plans to venture out

In the beginning everyone misunderstood

Everywhere I felt I was being pulled

Wanted to say so much in such little time

Although in reality I would never speak one line

Sad to say I bottled up all my emotions

Neither black, white nor grey

Could measure up to the actions you’d take

To experience such brightness in it’s place

I’m talking yellow.. in any shade

Coming in so many hues

Could have you feeling anywhere from bright pinks to dark blues

From the mellowness of your mood

To the light in the early morning dew

Yellow has many meanings to me, how about you?

Sometimes I see the faintest of yellow while looking at a beau

When everyone else has made me feel used and afraid

I am in her arms laying in the sun and it’s energizing rays

Not showing strength

Growing heat

Tried being neat

All in defeat

Wrong won

Song flung

In the air

Like the lost fun

When from a gun

A bullet runs

And hits a seed

Complexities got us paying fees

For past tendencies

When will we see what’s meant to be

Is always crushed in defeat

Then alone can we find our way to the throne

Slice the enemy to the bone

And reclaim what we truly own

The righteousness..

The breath taking enlightenment

No more waiting the fight began
