Riding a wave
from somewhere in the past,
we rise and fall together
and apart.
Even as
we continue
falling in concert like rain,
our interactions conforming
to the creative processes
of life,
living, growing,
sharing the
now.
Like leaves
being caught up,
tumbling in the wind
as particles of sand
standing out among others
scattered along a beach,
or stars in the sky
as friends
once and or forever,
moving ever further along,
we follow this slipstream
a space in time
