Constantly revealing
Peel away all that remains
You never loved me anyway
Watching light turn into grey
I can’t seem to recognize
What used to be but now has died
I still think of her sometimes
And I am left with bitter longing
Stay with me until the morning
Until the sober sun comes dawning
Ignore the urgent cry of starving
Deny your blatant disregarding
In my heart your name stays carving
