I began with good intentions
Bought a home that I would never live in
All new everything with rent, maintenance and taxes, I'd break even
Sweet turned sour with late rent, lies and thieving
Diapers and tampons thrown in toilets and flushed
Didn't realize it would cost so much
To fix, no matter who we picked
People just don't give a s#!t
Young, old, religious, black, or white
Replacing appliances managing expectations is a fight
Clearly said no dog but they got two pit bulls
Four people on the lease but they broke the rules
Baby daddy kicked down the door and spent all they rent
Somebody stole and sold the the A/C unit again then smoked that s#!t
The neighbors didn't see anything or say a word
No they don't have A/C either, so they happy it occurred
They stole the stove, fridge, washer and dryer I figure
Property management said what did you expect from ni66er?
Property Manager said (with a straight face) I can rent it with just a dishwasher
Those 'people' only eat fast food and couldn't tell the difference between and plate and a saucer
I once had to pay a $1,000 water bill
Tenants were washing clothes for profit-s#!t just got real
Notices and warnings from the city
For trash in the yard what a pity
With renters kicked out no income all I'm left with,
Is roaches, rodents and carpets stained with dog s#!t
And the of their crap left behind
If I have to throw away another pissy mattress one more time....
Exposed and in debt my investment became a liability
Making money in real estate is beyond the scope of my ability
I fixed everything up again and sold my home for less than I paid 10 years ago,
Do you ever want to be a landlord again? He!! No!
