I Got Nothing But Time

I used to live
My life a quarter mile
At a time
Nothing else matters

Because those ten seconds
Or less I was free
But when it comes to drifting
I got nothing but time

When the night is young
My friends and I
Would get in our cars
Go have fun on the streets

Coming around corners
Doing sixty to eighty miles per hour
Kick clutching and ripping the e-brake
The sound of tire screaching

Having so much fun
We don't want to go home
Feeling are cars
Are going out of control

But yet we are in control
Dancing with our cars
In the middle of the night
Just having a great time

With no problems  no worries
No past  no future
Just the moment
Going by us slowly

The needle red lines
Roar of  the muffler
As we drop into second gear
Coming around every corner

Looking back in the side mirrors
Watching every car
Coming around the corner
One after another behind me

While time is standing still
Not worrying about crashing
It's just like I said
I got nothing but time.
