Bounty on the Black Man
What reasons to bring back an a simile of Jim Crow
Are you attempting to stagnant the black mans' growth
It's as if you've gone from wearing white sheets
Now blending in society carrying a gun and a license to shoot
It's a bounty, legal rights to hunt down the black man
Using a gun instead of tree for hanging
It seems to be more of a business
Legal right indorsing cop killings
Inciting harm even death based on a mans' blackness
Bounty hunters why the madness can't you see we all share likeness
Judicator wearing the unbalanced scales of justice
Setting all the rules creating ease when it come to killing us
An attempt to thwart once again the minority on the rise
Masking your own fears by taking innocent lives
How many bullets should it take to take down a man
None when you're the one with the gun in your hand
What a world turning back the hands of time
Censoring ones ethnicity as being a crime
Unwillingness to call a spade of spade
Knowing that white supremacist is showing its face
Stepping up the hatred and terrorism that's constantly repeating itself
While those in power remains in denial
Clearly seeing the devastation of how words can lead to action
Yet standing natural as if nothing is factual
There's a bounty on a nation of people that's so perplexing
Knowing the danger that it brings
And truly by not calling it what it is
Cowardly endorsing the right to kill
