The Aching Womb

The aching but beauty of birth. A mother’s womb can be both a blessing and a curse. To be able to give life is one of the greatest pleasures of being a mother. But what’s a mother to do when the child is no longer in the womb; do the best she can and thank the Lord for delivering you. Then her heart drops…praying that the pain stops. Could this be? Is this call really for me? Losing breath trying to thinking what has happened to my seed! This just can’t be!

But what do you do when it turns out to be true…

You cry so many days that a piece of your life starts to fade. Pick yourself up, your mind starts to say. You have to keep going the pain has to stray. But it hurts so bad, I don’t want to live! How  can you move when your seed has been killed or your seed has fallen ill…Willing to trade places with deaths deal. That’s the power of a mother’s will. To give her child every breath of her will. To provide life, love and to shield.

Remembering the days when in the womb…sick but happy cause birth was coming soon. Then that day came and your light grew; life changed. But then the vision no longer looks the same. She must push forward and cover the pain. Time has passed and the world no longer looks the same. A mother walking the earth with an unlit flame. She begins to breathe looking to the sky and feeling the breeze. A smile forms but the pain is still real. Cause when you look deep into her eyes you can still feel that chill.

Shhhh, light the candle
