Hidden unbidden
you come
in the night
beckoning me
from an old
abandoned
house
where only
memories live
superfluous
hugs baubles of
stolen kisses
in the dark
glistening trinkets
of stolen love
a trunk
full of dirty secrets
the keeper of
naked lies
you dangled
in front of my eyes
to capture my demise
but still I ascend
for new life to begin……
