Cradled shells utter softly—Love
That glistening wild blue yonder – boundless – breathtaking – deep
Soughing tales for a commoner to rippling shallows
Always she’s stood upright within their recurring promises rising just to recede
Kept by the sands
Longing head over heels to know of stirring currents just off the waters edge
To become one who has swam (a stranger to claiming waves)
Harboring faith that someday they’ll come ashore, carrying her out to sea
