When you see me

When you see me you don't see a girl who laughs to keep from crying. When you see me you don't see a girl screaming on the inside all you see is silence. When you see me you don't see a girl who's lost all you see is a girl tryna find out where she's going. When you see me you don't see a girl searching for dear old she. When you see me you don't see hurt and pain, you don't see a girl who's mind sometimes drives her insane. So many people focus on outer appearance and think what they see is what appears how many people you know are smiling right now but went to bed in tears ? This world is a mystery and what I've been through in life is now my history unsure on how to show love when there isn't any left in me. When you see me know that I'm a girl that will never give up .. I'll never look down on my lover unless I'm helping them up. When you see me know that my past won't effect me. I promise to never be bitter but only better. When they see me they think I have it all together but people are so focused on the rainbow they don't know anything about the rain & stormy weathers. But oh when they see me I'ma stay smiling like I have it all together
