tell me another lie tell me you love me again and again maybe in time it will sink in until then tell me you love me show me what that looks like keep repeating that unfamiliar word to me shout it out loud until you're whispering and your throat is sore tell me you love me until I don't want to hear plug my ears until it hurts so bad my eyes form tears please tell me that lie again I heard it before but wasn't listening still I want to hear more make it plain and "CLEAR" throw me a lifesaver attached to a defibrillator tell me a lie tell me you love me so I can rise up to say I love you to tell me you love me so many times that I have no choice but to send it back to you
