And what’s sad is they dumb asses thought these “compliments†were okay.
I had self-esteem issues ‘cause they told me I was too dark.
My confidence became lower with every foolishremark.
I tried to wear lighter make-up to make up for my heart,
But that only made it worse for me so I decided to have a new start.
I reclaimed my Blackness...
See the fact is...
I’m ME.
I’m filled with the richest chocolate, black and flawless as can be.
My deep, dark, chocolate skin is a perfect beautiful hue.
If you think there’s something wrong with my dark skin, the only problem here is you.

Hand in handIt all started at home .. They suppose they shall seek for what they don't know...let's take a look at the pslams ... The further and further they grew apart all the stuff they loved became further and further apart 3 foes ;who did not see what mom and dad told them. And don't know when will they ever see them so they went they separate ways cus the way they saw was not the right way they were to blind to see the love they shared ..by not working together . Take a step backWhen you take a step back, you realize you don't need a man, be happy with yourself and as true to self as you can. You supply your own happiness, don't ever leave that to another, because feelings do change, and they're as light as a feather. If the love is real, and he is truly for you, let him show it, and if not, is it worth putting yourself through. No your worth, you are a Queen, your heart is pure as gold, but gold goes through fire too, before it takes its mold. Frustrating hesitationFrustration Hesitation always knocking at my door. One knock , two knocks , I got to let go.
