Energy

I AM not a product of my environment.

Rather a duplicate of my mentality.

We are what we think.

So we’re responsible for our realities.

So with that being said, I’m upgrading my INNERGY.

I’m shifting so high. Intentional.

Better yet, Dimensional.

Floating in my own mind

My root feels physical.

Chakras opening, releasing metaphoric dopamine.

Giving hope to me. My dream of being Free

I’m releasing this stagnant energy.

On this day, invoking the intention of being unafraid.

To share my truth, as I struggle with my version of mental health too.

But I’m refusing the label a generational curse.

I prefer intentional worth. By doing intentional work.

To become the best version of me too.

Honoring your transition.

While evolving can seem like this never ending mountain climb, it’s important to be patient and really settle in peace during each transition . Your soul is literally responding to the greatness you are being empowered with. Your brain is converting, rather seeking the knowledge and your heart is now feeding off of its peace. 

I am currently in another shift. South Dakota and I just realized that again I’m trying to rush away or into something else instead of just waiting in peace. I can feel my brain moving in circles feeling like I’m not doing enough and trying to find ways to put me down, and make me feel unworthy of this moment. 

But In realizing this. I understand the importance of just holding still. Something special is happening and instead of responding to every moment in my life with negativity or over analyzing things I’ve began to just listen more. And adapt to my ...

the Struggle.

Motherless Fatherless -child, alone in the world looking for direction.
She's missing her fathers protection and her mothers affection.
What she wouldn't give for just a moment so Surreal-- to feel, the touch of them both.

Words could never explain her pain as she struggles to maintain. 
Heart and Mind so heavy wondering what her life would've been like-- 
if only she had more time, With them both. 
maybe she wouldn't have struggled with loving herself; knowing her worth. 

Just maybe if she knew how much her dad cared, although he couldn't be there would have changed her perception of men.
Maybe it would have took more than just a grin faking a friend to touch her within. 

Or perhaps if her moms love could have just stayed a few more days, a few more years --until she had become that woman she is today;
 she could have accepted that Cancer.

Invisible Tears

Invisible tears, hold all of my fears
no one thinks they're real
but each day i feel-- its moist reveal.

on my face im smiling
but in my heart i'm crying.. 
how can they not see
that my mind is very weak.

Do you see my pain
how can you not see that stain
As I stare in space 
keeping trying to erase
these invisible tears-- only i feel on my face.

i am not my Skin.

But why I can't I be, 
if being black is my reality 
I take it with pride and just let it be. 

We don't get to choose our complexion, 
but we still need affection. 

Because my skin is a deep shade, 
you choose to degrade me 
and imprison my mind as your slave 

Then be amazed how I overcame your shame.
When you threw laughs at my name
Like I was the one to blame. 

I used to hate my skin, 
until I looked deep within 
the beauty of black, 
which never cracks 
as a matter of fact 
so take a laugh at that. 

It's funny tho, 
the black guys 
were the ones that made me feel less than a prize 
more like a ride but never invited inside. 

But now, 
I'm more comfortable with my dark...

Being hurt changes you. 
I am on a journey of self growth
one that doesn't require fulfillment from
another, reflections of a Lover
I'm seeking Me. 

The me, I'm meant to be
The me, that accepts my reality
The me, that respects herself 
doesn't regret what's left 
instead she reflects on self 
and doesn't neglect her wealth.
Wealth of imagery
the mental images
exposing my inner nemesis
I'm broken, where is my feminist.
no longer fighting
for what's right
I'm fighting for my life 
staying in the fight
sweating through the night
battling with my health
thinking death was better felt 
as I watch myself regress
self-infliction, but 
life attributes 
this agitated condition.

Struggles with depression
and you mocked...

Peace.

Wondering if I'll ever find you 
And the serenity you're bring.

As I close my eyes
I shut off my mind
And go back and time 

Searching for your presence
In this dark phase of depression
Looking for your lessons
I stroll to the ends of my oppressions

Deep breathes I try and breathe you
Closed eyes trying to see you
Still moments trying to feel you. 
Soft music while trying to hear you. 

Meditating because I need you,
Peace.
