Sometimes I daydream of the day when I rise above the struggle and stress.

I am quiet at times don't think I'm mean. 

Trying to make a dollar into a meal. 

I put my wants on hold.

I was too busy building, hoping, and fighting to get the coins.

I hear the sound of my alarm with only four hours of sleep.

I would get back up I've worked too hard to quit.

Poem: I am 5'6

  5'6 brown eyes 178lbs of soulfulness. Yes my skin is dark brown but there is need for sadness.

What you're looking at is a woman with goals and vision. Just don't try to interrupt the mission with static and signal drops.

I will make my dreams come true with hard work and precision. The pain, let downs, and faded signals pushed to keep going in the battle of survival. From drawing boards, maybe next times I blocked out due to the urgency in my heart.

I am beautiful whether you think so or not. Just don't run up for a second try. There is no reason why I shouldn't be treated like a queen. Holla! if you feel my words. I am 5'6

Poem: Through the Rain

Cloudy  sky, heavy rain sometimes you can't see the sun. Trying my best to stand tough even through the pain. Trials and challenges remind me of labor pain. So I push on even when I am alone. Refuse to give up because you can't win if you don't fight. Even though they expect me to give in. I see the prize and all the obstacles in my way. I keep standing, running, and walking. To get to my dream of being successful.

  So much to do and so little time. In a hurry oh please let time be on my side... Pep in my step goals on my mind so much to do and so little time. In a hurry oh please let time be on my side. Single mother 9-5 fighting in survial mode. Doing my best to make ends meet. Despite my hurt and tired feet. So much to do and so little time. In a hurry oh please let time be on my side. Can't forget to have fun even though it's a balancing of family, work, and close friends. So much to do and so little time. In a hurry oh please let time be on my side. Hoping one day to find unconditional love and be happily married. Being strong through challenges made me the mother, student, graduate, and survivalist. So much to do and so many possibilities.

Poem: Still holding Still holding When they throw shade and a glass of hate. Like the hands of time still moving forward no expiration date. I have love in my heart and people get it misunderstood for being a fool. And I think to myself even if I take a power nap I'll never be a tool. Dedicated to the mission because success is the ultimate vision. Shout out to all my secure ladies moving even when they try to push us down like the sun we rise anyway. Still Holding
