Life is hard at this time,
But we have to keep going without crossing the line,
This road that I take,
Might lead to my mistakes,
But I have to go there to understand my falls, and recognize my flaws,
I see things differently, but I have to wake up eventually,
I am on the road to destruction,
I do not have to be,
But I feel like I cannot function,
I want to explode with anger,
But it might lead to danger,
I need to find closure,
With this weight on my shoulder,
So I can be strong like a mother, protecting her child through stormy weather,
So I can be strong my Mother Nature,
I can climb mountains without causing a fracture,
My bones are strong,
They stand firm like a statue,
My past is gone, but my presence is here,
I will walk by faith and shed no tears.
My life has been a struggle and a very tough one, but it is nothing that I cannot handle. This poem is one of my favorites because you can feel my passion for my words. I have made mistakes that I do regret, and things that have happened to me, that I do not regret, because they happened for a reason, to open up my eyes, so that I can see room to grow. You and I are tempted and tried but we all need to work towards that one goal, and that is to get to Heaven because that is the reason we were created. This road is hard, but This Time, we have to strive to stay on the right path, and when I say, “This Time,” we all know that God gives us chances to make it right, but eventually you are not going to have time to make it right. Is it going to be easy? No, it is going to be hard, God said, as Christians, you are going to suffer while trying to live righteously for him on earth, but if you work hard, then one day, you can live eternally with Him in Heaven.
