is there a savior for Nigerian children is there a Moses to go get 'em look away closed eyes hands tied coming by the boatload dropping dead on the roadside by the truckload a full load separated from the white fold how can this be happening right under our nose black people these are our folks don't they look just like us if wearing our clothes explain to me, how can you be somebody in a world that thinks you're nothing at all the darker the skin the harder the fall people being treated as if their non human, this is an oversight can't be missed like an overbite what gives some people the right to ostracize who ever they feel like over boarders and across waters are all Gods sons and daughters they're not alone it's not hitting far from home we can use the same comb how can we believe we're in the safe zone the way things are rapidly reverting before our eyes will we stay down or will we rise what's so fascinating about a blue moon the song came out before I was born all the talk about who's a ss came out on the casting couch, where was justice when two little boys cried ouch that's the kinda sh it I'm talking bout some things will catch us off guard but, will it be a surprise

a taste of experience can only be savored as long as the flavor last yet we continue to chew until the bitter end we take more than one can stand some things too extreme to bear our physical and mental endurance alone is enough to tax the patience of a saint we been through too much we gone through too much we go through too much beyond the pale of oppression nothing short of horrendous we take our poison with a bit of honey and our life expectancy with a grain of salt we look back for a brief moment to see the results seen and unseen scars remain who can bust through heavens gate unsaved who can leave the world unscathed no one in the grave can tell us a thing about life whether we lean toward the dark side or press towards the light based on a single fundamental idea or principle as in a logical argument or belief we stand on one premise "THERE IS A GOD"

I sit around and I think about how past rejections turned out to be a blessing and how long it took me to learn one life lesson woke up to find a few strands of gray don't recall passing yesterday do I have regrets of course I do if you made my mistakes you would too the light comes on after birth like life goes on after death I gasp to grasp then I sigh did I really pass the past up I never could imagine what the future would hold I heard segregation is on the rise I wonder what that would look like in 2025 actually the thought tickles me the astrological belief is we're in retrograde
