The devastation of people and relationships of any kind, metaphorically speaking people are confusing leaves for roots. I'm sure most of us if not all have heard this.. Leaves are beautiful and a sight to see but they wither and die. they come back and die all over again. The roots are not budging, it takes blood sweat, tears and damn near your life to even touch the beginning root.
Weeds and plants another misconception. You have to watch those weeds, you get out there and you think those are flowers because they are also pretty. Before you know it they've overrun your vision to your true plant, and leave behind their insects to destroy your plants. Plants and flowers take love, time and patience. You have to know what kind of flower to plant at a certain time of the year. You have to have the right soil, enough shade, plant food as well as sunlight. Treat me like that flower, water my mind, feed my heart and shine light onto my soul.
