My Man’s Love
A man’s love can be many things.
A man can disguise pure evil as love.
Having a man that loves you completely,
Knowing that his love is pure,
Every word out his mouth is true,
Seeing that he has eyes,
For none other than me,
Feeling in my soul,
I have his heart,
Knowing
There’s nothing he wouldn’t give,
He wouldn’t do,
Just to see me smile.
He’d give his life to protect me,
If he had to,
That’s how my man loves me,
I know this,
Not because he says,
But because he shows me,
It’s written all over his face.
The eyes are the windows,
Into the soul,
Each time I look,
Into his eyes,
I see the love he has for me,
I see my reflection,
His views of me,
I feel it deep within my bones,
Inside my soul.
Actions speak louder than words,
All men can talk the talk,
How many can walk the walk?
Mine can!
No other can say different,
Having a man that loves you,
Like mine loves me,
Is a blessing itself,
His love,
Isn’t just unconditional,
It’s pure,
It’s strength,
It’s deep,
It’s empowering,
It’s satisfying,
It’s all mine,
And no-one can take it away,
Even if he passes before I,
His love I’ll always have,
For my man’s love,
Is just for me.
No other has,
Or can,
Love me,
The way Paul does.
