THINK IT, IMAGINE IT, ALMOST FEEL IT

DREAMS, DESIRES, LONGINGS

WE WANT TO CONQUER

HOWEVER, WE IGNORE THE WORK

IT'S EASIER JUST TO THINK IT IMAGIN IT ALMOST FEEL IT

HOWEVER YOU FAIL TO USE ITS POWER 

NO EASY ROADS TO TRAVEL

NO SOFT MEALS TO DEVOUR. 

CHEW 30 SOMETHING TIMES BEFORE YOU SWALLOW

RECIEVE NUTRITION TO MAKE YOU STRONG

YOU GOTTA WORK FOR THE THINGS WORTH IT 

NO DAYS OFF TO PULL ALONG

HAMMER TO NAIL HEAD 

EACH SWING GETS IT CLOSER TO IT'S DESIGNED PURPOSE

CONTINUE TO DRIVE IT IN 

HOLDING FOUNDATIONS, END RESULTS WILL BE WORTH IT

NO NEED TO REKINDLE, POTINIAL HURTS

NOW STANDING 10 FEET TALL

SO MUCH POWER IN THIS GUESTURE

NO NEED TO HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS TO THE MANY QUESTIONS SAID AND UNSAID

SOMETIMES THE GUESTURE OF AFFECTION WILL CALM THE NOISE IN THE BUSY HEAD

Lashes, hair done 

that bomb silky straight

Nails perfection the best they make

Smiles you see her lies show

Laughter escapes her yet deep down 

no one knows.

Behind her house door she hides beyond its veil 

So many secrets too ashamed to tell

She is broken hurt mentally abused

Emotional scars, scratch her hearts love it hurts no matter how much she doesn't want it to

Open up her windows she though about screaming out

Too afraid of others care-less she again muffled her shout

Fancy nail prints, naw at her arm, self-inflicted pain

Internal confussion ace the test of driving her insane.

Yet indoors all who know this are her couch her tables and her floors

sometimes upon it's middle she likes to take a whirl

Like Wonder Woman appears at the end of a twirl

She is now "EASY BREEZY BEAU...

LAYERS

Stripping away layers so to speak

Losing trust and security in you

Damaging words hurt worse than the pain colors

Black N Blue

Today is one thing tomorrow another

Then a sudden flash goes past our love for each other

Stripping away the layers

With arrow roads of return

Restoration seems faded hard to like the love once yerned 

Now the question do we mend the brokens ...... break

For how much more can I deal with?

How much more can I take

Then out this nightmare I quickly awake

Replacing the layers that now my prayers make

Mending posture I pray the Lord see's

fixing my layers as I bow my knees

SHE ARRIVED AT THE HALL

STANDING ONLY FIVE FOOT THREE

SHORT AND SASSY LADY SHORT AND SASSY ME

TIME TO STRETCH OUT THOSE LEGS, ARMS THEN YOUR NECK AND HEAD

RELEASE ANY AND ALL THINGS DID, RELEASE ANY AND ALL THINGS  SAID

YOU COULD NEVER BE THAT SPECIAL WHO

YOUR TOO OLD TO START A NEW

ALL THESE YEARS WASTED AT YOUR AGE WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO?

"NOW HUSH YO MOUTH AND MOVE OUT MY SPACE"

"I'M ABOUT TO DANCE AND DANCE ALL OVER THIS PLACE"

I'M GONNA LEARN THE CLAPS AND THE SNAPS, THE MOVES AND THE GROOVES.

Breathe in it's essence

to create the quiet of mind

gaze upon the stillness, let imagine rivers flow

your thinking will grow

Smile upon your face, reflections of bright lights ahead

Back faces behind you, step by step you take away from its dread

Blinking eye, new sight arise new knowledge is found

The loud gets louder and it turns into shout the noise is uneasy confusion all about

Peace is knocking yet can not be heard

Quiet is louder as odd as it may sound it will indeed be greater than any words all around.

So speak your mind a new way and not a word do you stutter

It's been a long time since I really sat with onself to create

Here is why...

I was waiting for the pain to break

Yet still waiting

Is my muse shown only in happy times? 

With that,  who am I really helping?

That is NOT lifes story

I feel better when I can relate. But I wanted to hush the sadness,the

madness, the pain that crept in my life

Attempting to steal my Glory

IT WAS WINNING

Keeping me from ....me and I just didn't want to do what I  was created to. 

Many forms it takes,  attack after attack and I question as I crumble

Why me?  No fight in me I see

No left hook or jab would help me I was shook

Crowded negative all around me, No matter where I looked

My pencil stayed in it's cradle not fulfilling any purpose...just like me

Alast a revelation came to me so simple and clear one day
