I see you everywhere
Blue flowers in your hair
It's strange but I don't stare
You look at me I look over there
Face down in paged poetry
People peeking over my shoulder trying to see the kinda book I read
As if they can see inside of me
Soothing music oozing through
My earbuds the kinda music I love the kind of Hz that lift me up
When I'm headed downtown
Sleepers on the ground
Drowning out hurtful stuff
On the Painline graffiti scrawl
Walls sign of how far gone
No fear I've been abroad
Crossing oceans to shores
Like a Middle Eastern war
Sight of blood don't bother me
It's the smell that's reeking
Not in a rush to the movies
Rather wait for the DVD
Wakanda can't save me
I don't need a hero unless
Its a sandwich and I happen to be hungry
