I lie awake unable to sleep at night,
Thoughts of you continuously consuming my mind.
I told myself not to get wrapped up in the idea of loving you
But now I'm feeling like I have the teenage love affair blues.
I find myself drawing x's and o's and writing your last name next to mine .
My friends tell me not to entertain the thought because youre just a waste of time
But I brush off the comments and get back to loving you
Because i'd rather be a fool in love than to be a lonely fool.
