I was lost for a while,
Trusted the wrong,
Heeding their words i became so blind,
Lost in a fantasy of my own,
Thought i had life figured out,
Then i had the greatest fall,
Suddenly the true colors of the wrong had to unfold,
Saddened and depressed i became,
Misunderstood and broken in a place so dark,
Thinking why i had been so ill fated,
Then it hit me like a hurricane,
Why am i suffering such a pain?,
For i know my own worth,
Why should i take treatment of such and be accepted as dirt?,
I stood again,
I decided to put myself together,
I came out stronger than ever,
Positive with a smile,
I deserve ro be happy,
Heartache lasts for a while,
But life goes on and on..

stronger than i ever wasStarted off with nothing but a few tasteless words of society, People continuously looking and judging me, I let it slide a time or two, Feeling like a nothing and a no one became a feeling so immune, Friends always hanging out and I’m like, some other time, I see them smile and whisper to one another, Probably laughing behind my back like every other, But it’s okay, In the back of my mind I knew I had to pave my own way, Days became harder to get through, Nights became difficult to sleep, When you spending all that time walking in the heat, Looking for someone to give you just a chance to prove your worth, Again, people looking and treating you like some piece of dirt, You take what you get, Because they thing you’re that desperate, You get mocked at, You end up feeling lost in a world of your own, People still talk, not knowing what he’ll you’re going through, You put up with misery and pain, To get through... |
Embracing the visionI once had a vision, But getting nearer to it had seemed almost like an impossible mission, I had to lean back for a while, But then I soon realized, That just wasn't my style, So I got myself up and going again, I didn't worry about the track or lane, I just took my own route, I could hear verses of a magical flute, Numb as my heart would begin to beat, Dumb struck and in slow motion I'd walk in the cold and dreadful heat, And mute is the sound I would speak, People used to stare at me like I'm a freak, They always underestimated me to be frail and weak, I let them keep that in their mind, Whilst I top my game, Rise higher than ever and sparkle thee brightest shine, I'm not someone to boast,but truth be told the pieces of my puzzle seem to interlock just perfectly fine, Time to raise your champaign glasses and have a toast, Be this  the beginning of a well deserved and successful road, Only time can tell what's in store, But for now, I... |
