Selling That Hard

Selling that hard
Say you won't be a slave
You won't work for the white man
So the streets your trade
Nothing you have is legit
Stacking papers
Now you're that
Until the feds caught you
Look at what that hard bought you
Now you are suffering
You need help
This time you alone by yourself
Now you're thinking about those you turned your back on
Expecting their money to cover you
No cell phones
Prepaid phone calls home
You said you would not be a slave
But behind them bars
It is whatever they say
The tears are coming
No more street running
Some of your friends are out here snitching
Others in jail DL male hitting
Those worldly obsessions
Now the government  has your physical possessions
Stressing
10 years to life
Your street Lesson

I feel this one. As a young black man, I almost fell into this trap they call the streets and managed to make it out. Nice write. Keep the ink flowing
