Of late, i must stipulate,
my observation be in wonder,
some strait 'women of color' desire
to be another blond'Ish their endowed tress,
bleach their chestnut grace... i spy,
perplexing this trend,
is it then fashionable... fringe,
to despise dignity codifying heritage, and skin?
hay... hay, don't make me to be the grinch
came of age amidst the 60's woes...
exalt Angela Davis' black beauty does!
not up on what's hip today.
is this educated ingrates way?
