Found my way back on the keys
As I came to find the previous poem
Was a bit disorganized
Could it be that I am my worst critique
Or could it be
That I want the best for the love of my life
Hmmmm, maybe a little of both
Nevertheless
Here it is baby….
When I first laid eyes on you
My heart skipped a beat
Wondering how one man
Can make my world
Turn upside down
Right side up
Just by sitting there with a smile
Stroking my ego
Little did he know
He had me
From the moment he said hello…
Moving on to his poetry
Enlightened, to see a poet as wonderful as he
Spoke his words
Making my body quiver
Feeling as if the words he spoke
Were about me and only me
On to a new scenery
Where we moved our way
And found our bodies
Pulsating for each other
Put the true meaning
To the words…
“Miracle on 34th St” …. Wink….wink….
A true miracle indeed
The way our souls connected
As his body penetrated mine
My heart pulsing at a speed
I never encountered before
Feeling his pulse through mine
A miracle indeed
When two souls are brought together
Mesmerized as I looked into his eyes
Capsized by the way
His body deeply penetrated mine
With every stroke of his shaft
Filling every crevice of my body
Little did I know
This was the man of my dreams
Little did I know
This was the man
I would spend the rest of my life with
The man who would one day become
My Husband
Little did I know
I would be the woman
To carry his name
And bare his child
Is who I am
Is who I will forever be...
