When we're faced with
Life's situations that seek
To alter our paths in a
Negative manner and each
Researched solution seems
To drift away at every turn,
Seeds of insecurity and frustration
Are planted and doubt takes root
To our cerebrums
Like weeds to a garden.
We fall to our knees asking
How do we get past this?
How do we conquer the mountains
That stand before us
And seem impossible to climb?
When we're shown what
The root of the problem is
And realize we don't have
The answer we thought we did
A change takes place.
Our cerebral garden gets weeded
The mountains crumble as
Settled minds resolve and
Release all past negativities.
Old habits fade away as
New and positive thinking
Steps into the spotlight
And overtakes our frontal lobe.
Patted and squeezed shoulders
Aid in the reassurance and
Comfort of knowing that
Although present pain runs deep
Faith, strength and hope
Are with us every step of the way.
A new journey has begun
Healed hearts bring smiles to surface
Igniting the flames in our souls
Casting woes and worries into the wind.
It's over.
It's finally over.
Relieved minds can rest easy
As we rise to our feet
And walk in the essence of
A new found spiritual growth.
We have moved on.
