Traveling On
Dreams have often been shattered
And the traveled road sometimes, broken
Yet the journey has continued.
Who would have imagined
We would survive all that mattered?
They were so unaware
We are like the sun and the moon.
Nothing can stop our rising and setting;
We are like the ever present sea:
Always giving, but never empty…never bare.
Trials and tribulations have tempered our pride;
Love…our fuel; hope our flame; and faith our guide.
No it ain’t been easy; but in God’s chariot, we still ride;
His ears hear our cry and His eyes remain upon us,
Yes we too, are His blessed children of the Exodus.
