Down The Walls

Is not the heart that beats within each man

the same ... can man live life without a soul

I do not think that any wise man can

To love they neighbor should be our own goal

A wall can never really separate

the ones with much from those that little own,

who lost her home, and then her loving mate,

and faces all the sadness even known

Tear down the walls of hate and learn to care

feel how a smiling face you now will see,

it only take some moments of sweet Prayer,

as one does Pray upon a bended knee

There is no need for walls as we're the same,

for God alone does know you by your name...

Life's Circle

Full Circle of Life itself, can so become,

as arms of Love surround a weary face,

to kiss away the tears of pain, yes teach

you how to walk again, tiny step by step

My own Bronzed Child, she came to be my Mom,

change the bandages of Life's scars, from my heart,

as I remember doing the same for her

Life can be filled with Love, as childhood returns

I see the sadness in her eyes, as she does

bath me, clear my ears, make sure i brush my teeth,

comb my hair, while giving me signs of her hope

that she may be once more, Mother's Loving Child.

I take her hand, yes smile, as she would also

do when I did twist her hair, so thick, so dark,

her fingernails are long, well manicured, as

she does simply plait, the braids of my gray hair

Full circle of life itself, can so become, 

hearts give back to...
